Agbor N" Igidi, Lagos Chapter Gives Palliatives To Victims of Osadebe Gas Inferno

Today, Friday, October 1, 2021 Mr Andy Ojei, President Agbor N” Igidi, Okenali, Okenami Eweniwe, Lagos Chapter led members of the community based association to the Eluonye Street, Agbor abode of Mr Monday Osadune who lost his entire family during the Jan. 23rd , 2021 Osadebe Gas Explosion that claimed innocent lives and properties worth several millions, TSM Conduits reports.

The delegation were received by ‘ Idumu Enyin Association chaired by Hon Donald Egbon Okonta , councillor representing state Ward 8 at the Ika South Legislative Arm. Traditions were observed . Mr Andy Ojei commiserated with the survivors adding that Agbornigidi, Lagos chapter decided to cushion the effects of the unfortunate gas fire with cash donation. ” We heard of the tragic incident, it was a painful one. We are also aware of the various arrangements to give you people succour. We feel your pains , we are with you. What has happened has happened, we still need to move.on. God is all-knowing . Members of Agbor N” Igid, Lagos, chapter will give you palliatives. We pray that something of that nature will never happen again in our land. Please use this token to massage your feelings and move on. Put the whole tragic incident behind you and move on. The beneficiaries include Elder Monday Osadume, Mrs Sunday Okoh, Sunday Orakpa, Ms Thereasa Igumbor. The association is scheduled to also make cash donation to another survivor who suffered third degree burnt tomorrow October 2.

Elder Monday Osadume who spoke on behalf of the victims expressed their profuse thanks to the association for identifying with them. He spoke on the need for job for Ms Theresa Igumbor whom he said was orphaned by the fire incident.

The itinerary include Mr Ike Iyawah, Ist Vice President, Mr Emmanuel Atupkor, Secretary, Rotn Peter Idion, Hon Lucky Ojei and Mr Hycent Iyare,

Prayers were offered for protection and mercy of God upon Ikaland.

Rotn Peter Idion who interacted briefly with newsmen immediately after the exercise was full of praises for the Mr Andy Ojei’s-led Agbornigidi, Lagos cheaper describing their action as legendary. He prayed God to refill their pockets.
